The main character of the film, Serhii, ends up in a specialized boarding school for the hearing impaired, where there is a criminal organization, the Tribe. He tries to take his place in the school hierarchy and participates in several robberies. When Sergei falls in love with Anna, one of the Overseer's concubines, he has to break the unwritten laws of the tribe.
